NARTIS, part of the Components and Smart Technologies division of the NEC Group and Russia’s largest manufacturer of smart metering devices and charging infrastructure, has commissioned new production facilities for manufacturing EV charging stations. The expansion has increased the production capacity of the EV charging station business tenfold.
The new workshop covers 2,000 sq. m. and has created 60 new jobs.
The production expansion is driven by growing demand for charging infrastructure for private and public electric transport. NARTIS supplies charging solutions to Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise and Passazhiravtotrans State Unitary Enterprise. The company’s charging stations are installed along major highways, in supermarket parking lots, business centers, and other urban infrastructure facilities.
The new production workshop will manufacture ultra-fast, fast, and slow charging stations for corporate customers. The new facility will enable NARTIS to flexibly increase production volumes and support the implementation of large-scale charging infrastructure projects.
The development of the EV charging station business is part of NARTIS’s strategy to expand its range of domestic technological solutions for the energy and electric transport sectors.
