NEC Group acquires an asset in the manufacturing sector

The NEC Group has added to its portfolio the Russian manufacturer of rapidly erected buildings and structures, LLC Alteon. The acquisition is aimed at expanding the Group’s production capabilities, strengthening its technological sovereignty and enhancing its competitiveness in the Russian market. Integrating Alteon into the NEC Group will broaden the range of integrated solutions for key industries – the power sector, oil and gas industry, construction and heavy industry. Alteon has substantial expertise in metalworking, manufacturing metal structures and producing specialised items, which seamlessly complements the Group’s existing business areas. Alteon will become part of the NEC Group’s metal structures division, where it will develop joint projects with LLC Nizhny Tagil Metal Structures Plant. Combining the competencies of these two major Russian enterprises will create synergy between their production capacities, improve the efficiency of fulfilling large‑scale integrated orders and enable the optimisation of technological processes. The NEC Group will continue to actively develop areas related to import substitution and production localisation, providing Russian customers with reliable and technologically advanced solutions.
